Common Issues
FloatSnap says it needs Screen Recording permission
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and enable FloatSnap. You may need to restart the app after granting permission.
My license key isn't working
Make sure you're pasting the full key with no extra spaces. You need an internet connection for activation. If it still fails, email us with your license key and we'll sort it out.
Screenshots look blurry
This shouldn't happen — FloatSnap captures at native pixel density. If you see blur, email us with your macOS version, display setup (Retina/non-Retina), and a screenshot of the issue.
How do I check for updates?
Right-click the menu bar icon and choose "Check for Updates." FloatSnap also checks automatically in the background.
System Requirements
- macOS 15.5 (Sequoia) or later
- Screen Recording permission
- Internet connection for license activation and update checks
